Live webinar – ‘The Sterile Neutrino Puzzle’ ICARUS at Fermilab

We are delighted to host Dr Gian Luca Raselli, INFN, Sezione di Pavia, in a live webinar at MEDSI, the virtual event, on Wednesday 28th July at 3.30pm BST.

MEDSI is the 11th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering Design of Synchrotrom Radiation Equipment and Instrumentation.

Dr Raselli will be discussing the “Sterile Neutrino Puzzle” and its search at FNAL in the SBN program. He will be explaining the LAr-TPC detection technique and its evolution. He will also discuss the ICARUS T600 detector and its overhauling at CERN and bring attendees up to date on T600 current status and conclusions. This panel also includes Dario Proietti from Allectra who oversaw the Coaxial feedthrough contract for the light detection system.

To attend this webinar, you must register to attend MEDSI, then visit the Allectra virtual booth to sign up. Closing date for registration is July 19th.

The conference aims to enable collaboration on cutting-edge instrumentation and technology, as well as novel research and development, that drives the rapid advancement in the field of synchrotron radiation and free-electron laser light sources worldwide. The conference topics include insertion devices, magnets, storage rings, front ends, beamlines, optics, end station instrumentation, and core technology development in vacuum, cryogenic, optics, and precision mechanics.
