Allectra’s SMP feedthroughs are the smallest coaxial UHV-compatible feedthroughs in our portfolio. Designed for precision applications, these double-sided feedthroughs are ideal for high-frequency signals up to 14 GHz  and offer a cost-effective alternative to SMA. Available exclusively welded into flanges, these feedthroughs enable compact, high-density connectivity in ultra-high vacuum environments.

  • Up to 4 SMP feedthroughs on CF16 (1.33″) flanges#

Superior Electrical & Thermal Performance
  • 50 Ohm impedance for easy integration
  • Voltage rating: 335V RMS, 500V DC, max. 1A
  • Frequency rating: Up to 14 GHz, with VSWR <1.1 (10GHz), <1.3 (12GHz), <1.5 (14GHz)
  • Temperature range: 4K to 400°C, excluding connectors, -55°C to 165°C with connectors
Optimised for UHV Applications
  • Leak Rate <2×10⁻¹⁰ mbar l/s He
  • Designed to suit MIL STD 348, figure 326 and DESC 94007 & 94008 specifications
Available Options:
  • Limited Detent (LD) and Smooth Detent (SD)
    • Smooth Detent (SD) – Designed for ~1000 insertions, ideal for quick connections. Insertion force 9N max, disengagement 2 N min.
    • Limited Detent (LD) – Designed for ~500 insertions. Insertion force 45N max, disengagement 9 N min. This will ensure a more secure connection.
  • Connectors are suitable for both SD and LD feedthroughs
  • Available on standard and custom flanges
  • Connectors are compatible with our vacuum coaxial cables 301-KAP50, 301-KAP50S and our air-side 314-COAX-RG405
